# Access and environments

> API Key, staging and production URLs, and contact to request Kairo Shield access

Before integrating, your organization needs:

* An **API Key** linked to your Kairo Shield client.
* A **base URL** for **staging** (testing) and/or **production**.

**All credentials and URLs are managed through the Kairo Connect technology team.**

## What to request

| Item | Description |
| - | - |
| API Key | Authenticates all integration requests |
| Base URL – Staging | Testing environment |
| Base URL – Production | Production environment |
| Ley 1581 consent | Must be active (`fraud_detection_consent=true`) to use scoring |
| Webhooks (optional) | HTTPS receiver URL; secret is returned on webhook creation |
